THE SEVEN DOMAINS OF INNER ECOLOGY

Many dimensions.
One living person.

The principles are a compass for how to approach care. The Seven Domains are Bruce’s map for exploring the person’s wider experience. Select a domain to see its meaning and connections.

DOMAIN 03 · INNER ECOLOGY

Psychological

Emotion, beliefs and interpretation

This domain includes emotions, beliefs, inner dialogue and the ways we make sense of experience. These can shape coping, decisions and the experience of symptoms. Psychological support belongs alongside appropriate physical assessment.

Psychological ↔ Neurological

Worry can make it difficult to settle for sleep, while a difficult night can affect emotional coping the following day.

A QUESTION TO EXPLORE

What story am I telling myself about my experience, and is it helpful?

A reflective map, not a diagnostic test. These seven domains are part of the Inner Ecology Repatterning™ teaching framework. Connections shown are illustrative, not proof of a cause in any individual person.

FROM MAP TO ACTION

The five regenerative levers

Five pathways described in the short guide for translating the wider picture into supportive care.

Nervous system regulation

Make room for manageable demands, supportive relationships and comfortable settling practices.

02

Microbiome restoration

Explore nourishment and gut health in context, with individual advice for persistent digestive concerns.

03

Circadian alignment

Consider regular sleep timing and the daily pattern of light and activity.

04

Somatic processing

Notice bodily experience with choice and consent; seek appropriately trained support for trauma-related work.

05

Meaning and purpose

Connect daily choices with values, belonging and something personally meaningful.
